Our mission
A soft place to land after birth.
Pittman Postpartum Care Cottage gives new mothers the rest, nourishment, and gentle guidance they deserve, so healing feels held, not hurried.
Why postpartum recovery matters
Mothers are often discharged within 24–48 hours, yet the most critical recovery period occurs during days 3–10. Without warm, trauma-aware support, families face higher rates of depression, breastfeeding challenges, and preventable complications. PPCC exists to close that gap in Brevard County.
Founder & Vision
Tysha K. Pittman, MS, LMHC (FL), LPC (GA), is a perinatal mental-health clinician, doctoral candidate, and lifelong Brevard County resident. After becoming a mother after 35, she founded PPCC to bring restorative, culturally responsive postpartum care to the community that raised her.

“Every mother deserves a gentle, supported transition into postpartum life.”
Four pillars of postpartum wellness
PPCC is designed as a sanctuary for the fourth trimester — a place where rest, recovery, and confidence can grow.

Restorative Lodging
Private master suites with mother-and-baby sleeping areas and en-suite bathrooms, designed for quiet rest, bonding, and 24-hour support.
Lactation Support
On-site breastfeeding and bottle-feeding guidance from experienced consultants, including latch support, pumping plans, and milk-supply education.
Mental-Health Care
Perinatal mental-health therapy and telehealth follow-ups with licensed clinicians who understand the emotional transitions of new motherhood.
Nutrition Counseling
Warm, nutrient-dense American and Korean postpartum meals, healing teas, and one-on-one guidance to restore strength and support lactation.
A home built for recovery
Every room at PPCC is planned around one question: what does a mother need in her first weeks with a new baby? The answer is a private cottage with two premium suites, a dedicated therapy room, and shared spaces for rest, nourishment, and gentle company — with the everyday support a stay requires quietly close at hand.

Two Premium Postpartum Suites
Private master suites, each with an en-suite bathroom and a sleeping space for mother and baby, so rest and bonding never require leaving the room.
A Dedicated Therapy Room
One quiet room given over entirely to hands-on care — lactation support, massage, and pelvic-floor therapy held in privacy and calm.
A Shared Luxury Recovery Lounge
A light-filled lounge for slow mornings, supervised bonding with baby, and gentle company when a mother wants it — or quiet when she does not.
Kitchen & Nourishment Station
A full kitchen and nourishment station where recovery meals, healing teas, and snacks are prepared and kept close through the day and night.
Secure Supply Storage
A locked, organized store for pumping supplies, infant feeding gear, and personal items — clean, labeled, and easy to reach.
Laundry Space
Dedicated laundry for linens, clothing, and baby items, so mothers arrive with a bag and leave without worrying about one.
